This was my second attempt to apply for this competition. I could get nominated for the first time in 2022.
The theme for this year was voice. These posters demonstrate the voice of marine mammals such as whales, seals and dolphins with a spectrogram that is a way to visualise sound and represent frequency over time.
Apparently, Marine mammals are in danger of extinction because of human activity. Their voice is drowned out by noise pollution from ships and factories on the sea. We, mankind must make a move to protect them and their beautiful voice. My works were exhibited at the National Art Center Tokyo for the first time.
